Immerse yourself in the Amazon with our Premium Tour. Discover an exclusive journey that seamlessly combines elegance with the authenticity of the jungle.

Day 1: Arrival in the Heart of the Amazon

Embark on an exciting adventure from Coca to Napo Wildlife Center. After a warm welcome at our private dock, we will begin an approximately two-hour navigation along the Napo River in a comfortable covered motorboat, as the Amazonian landscape begins to reveal the vastness of the rainforest. During the journey, you will enjoy a box lunch before arriving at the lodge’s welcome area. From there, we will continue by paddle canoe along Añangu Creek, a quiet and peaceful experience that offers the first opportunities to observe birds, monkeys, and the sounds of nature. Upon arrival, you will receive a welcome drink, light snacks, and information about your stay before settling into your cabin.

Main activities: motorboat navigation, paddle canoe ride, wildlife watching.
Included meals: box lunch and dinner.

Day 2: Parrot Clay Licks and Kichwa Culture

The excursion begins early with a paddle canoe ride along Añangu Creek toward the parrot clay licks. After changing to a motorized canoe, we will head to one of Yasuní’s most iconic sites, located on the banks of the Napo River, where parrots and parakeets descend in the morning to feed on natural minerals. Then, we will walk along a terra firme forest trail to reach a second clay lick protected by the Kichwa Añangu Community. The day continues at the Kuri Muyu Interpretation Center, where the mamakunas share traditions, dances, handicrafts, and ancestral knowledge. At night, a guided nocturnal walk will reveal another side of the rainforest, with the possibility of observing insects, amphibians, reptiles, and other nighttime species.

Main activities: parrot and parakeet clay licks, guided forest walk, Kichwa Añangu cultural exchange, wildlife watching, and night walk.
Included meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 3: Observation Tower and Wildlife

The day begins with a canoe ride along a small creek to one of our observation towers. From above, you will be able to admire the Amazon canopy and enjoy one of the best opportunities to observe birds, listen to the sounds of the forest, and, with luck, see monkeys moving through the trees. On the way back to the lodge, we will enter trails surrounded by lush vegetation, crossing terra firme forests where the guides will interpret giant trees, lianas, bamboo, and species typical of the understory. After lunch and some time to rest, we will navigate nearby creeks by paddle canoe, a peaceful experience ideal for searching for caimans, otters, birds, and other species associated with aquatic ecosystems.

Main activities: observation tower, guided forest walk, paddle canoe ride, wildlife watching, and birdwatching.
Included meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 4: Departure to Coca

Early in the morning, we will begin the return journey to Coca. We will navigate by paddle canoe along Añangu Creek to the welcome area and then continue by motorboat along the Napo River. Upon arrival in Coca, our team will assist you with check-in for your return flight to Quito.

Main activities: early morning paddle canoe navigation and motorboat navigation.
Included meals: breakfast.

L6702THseanb L6702THseanbOne of a kind rainforest experience
Napo Wildlife Center sits upon a beautiful Amazon lagoon full of wildlife that you can watch from your porch hammock. The experience here was one of a kind! The guides are incredibly knowledgeable and we had the opportunity to see tons of wildlife in the lush dense forest. Food was delicious and they were extremely accommodating of us as vegetarians. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. They are going above and beyond to support the health of the Amazon and their local community, and by staying here you are helping them to further this goal. The view from the top floor of the lodge shows 360 degrees of untouched land and is the perfect place to wind down your day. Would highly recommend for anyone seeking an unmatched rainforest experience!

The scenery, wildlife , accommodations and staff were all first rate. It's a trip from Quito but well worth it. The Napo River segment from Coca is scenic, the Anangu River segment is a thrill and the Anangu lagoon and lodge are stunning. We had small children with us and it was a challenge but the staff was very helpful with our "special needs". Our best regards to Milton, Fredy, Jefferson, Edison, Clarita and all the fine folks at NWC.
